Abigail Snow, also known by her callsign Locket, was born and raised on the planet Datura in the Ebon Rest Sector of the Forge. Datura was a tainted world, wracked by a poisonous climate and virulent growths. The planet's stagnant cloud cover and toxic seas made it a difficult place to live, but the people of Wellspring, the settlement where Abigail grew up, had found ways to survive. Despite the harsh conditions, there was diverse life on the planet, and the people of Wellspring had built a community that specialized in archaeology and trade.

Growing up in Wellspring, Abigail was exposed to the social stratification that existed in her home settlement. From a young age, she saw the divide between the haves and the have-nots and was determined to make a difference. She was a curious and creative child, with a natural aptitude for mechanics and technology. She spent her free time exploring the ruins and ancient artifacts that dotted the landscape of Datura, always searching for a way to bridge the gap between the different classes of her community.

When she was 16, Abigail discovered a way to do just that. She stumbled upon a long-abandoned research facility deep in the heart of a virulent fungal infestation. Inside, she found a cache of advanced technology, including a set of cutting-edge sensor arrays. Using her skills and her determination, she was able to repair and repurpose the equipment, creating a device that could detect and map the toxic fungal growths, making it possible for her community to reclaim large swaths of land that had previously been uninhabitable.

This was a game-changer for Wellspring and Abigail's contribution was recognized by the community. She became known as the Locket, due to her ability to unlock hidden potential in the land of Datura. Her invention made it possible for her people to expand their settlements and trade routes, bringing prosperity to the community and giving Abigail a sense of purpose she had never known before.

As she grew older, Abigail's thirst for adventure and discovery led her to explore further afield. She obtained her own ship, a modified freighter called Stardust, equipped with the advanced sensor arrays she had created. She set out into the depths of the Forge, exploring abandoned outposts, derelict ships and uncovering ancient artifacts. She quickly became known as a skilled explorer, always looking for a way to help the people she encountered, using her skills and her wits to solve problems and make a difference.

She also became a member of the Ironsworn, a group of explorers, traders, and freelancers who travel the galaxy in search of wealth, knowledge, and power. Her reputation as a resourceful, charismatic and curious woman, who is able to think of solutions to avoid conflict if possible but who is able to defend herself if need be, quickly spread among the members of the Ironsworn.

Abigail first met Mave Winter, also known as Farseer, during one of her early expeditions into the Forge. Mave was a fellow explorer who had built a reputation for herself as a daring and adventurous woman, always on the hunt for new discoveries and secrets. They met while exploring a derelict ship, stranded in a debris field of mineral asteroids. Mave had been scavenging the ship for valuable technology and Abigail had been sent to investigate the vessel by the Ironsworn.

Mave and Abigail quickly bonded over their shared love of adventure and discovery. They were both intrigued by the ancient technology and artifacts that dotted the galaxy, and they shared a sense of wonder and awe at the mysteries of the Forge. As they worked together to uncover the secrets of the derelict ship, they formed a deep friendship based on mutual respect and trust.

Mave had a deep interest in the Precursor civilizations, and her goal was to discover the truth of who they were and what they had left behind. She often shared her findings with Abigail, who was always eager to learn more about the ancient civilizations of the Forge. Mave also sometimes gave her information about her findings, or jobs at times.

As they traveled the galaxy together, Abigail and Mave encountered all manner of dangers and challenges, from hostile creatures and treacherous terrain to hostile factions and rival explorers. But they always had each other's backs and managed to overcome every obstacle they encountered. Now, they are considered one of the best teams of explorers in the Forge

Abigail's background as a skilled explorer and a problem solver, her knowledge of advanced technology, and her ability to think on her feet make her a valuable asset in the treacherous depths of the Forge. Her past experiences have shaped her into a determined, resilient, and compassionate person. She's determined to make a difference in the galaxy, and her journey as the Locket is just beginning.
